What we collect
A mainland China phone number, verification result, privacy consent record, and essential security logs.
Why we collect it
To create or identify a Gibbai account, maintain sign-in, prevent SMS abuse, and protect account security.
Service provider
Alibaba Cloud SMS processes the phone number needed to deliver sign-in codes. The message is used only for identity verification.
How it is protected
Phone numbers are encrypted by the service and displayed in masked form. Verification codes and credentials are not stored in browser-readable persistent storage.
Retention and your rights
The phone number is retained while the account and required services remain active. Self-service account closure is not available in Phase 1.
No marketing consent
Accepting this policy only covers processing required for sign-in. It does not authorize marketing messages or campaigns.
